THE ARTIST
Dodji
Dodji is a contemporary artist based in Albany, New York. His figurative paintings combine expressive color, heightened gesture and an unmistakable cast of spectators to explore the relationship between observer and subject.
In The Spectators, the audience becomes part of the performance. Their expressions invite viewers to consider what it means to watch, respond and be seen.
